About the role

Are you an experienced professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the management of diverse property assets in one of the world’s most vibrant cities? The City of Sydney is undergoing a significant transformational change within Property Services, and we’re seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our Business Services Team.

 

The City manages a unique and diverse range of assets, including heritage-listed commercial buildings, award-winning libraries, and operationally critical depots. Our portfolio includes over 1,500 property interests worth $2.7 billion, covering assets such as building properties, footway agreements, vacant land, and road interests. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the realisation of our Sustainable Sydney 2030–2050 vision by driving high-performance asset management.

As a Property Data Officer, you will:

  • develop PowerBI Dashboards from data housed in our Tririga MIS
  • lead data audits to ensure property data integrity. Implement and maintain quality control measures to minimize errors and inconsistencies.
  • facilitate staff training on data management best practices.
  • support creation of standard operating procedures for data management tasks.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • degree or diploma in data management, business administration, property management, or a related field is preferred.
  • previous demonstrated experience in data management, data administration, data integrity audits and system integrations.
  • knowledge of database security principles, encryption, and access control, proficiency in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. 
  • proficiency in using property management software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
