We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant- Treasury focusing on financial management in a local government. The candidate must be service orientated with a solid understanding of financial concepts, possess the capacity to work in a team, have an analytical approach and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
This is a permanent position. Ideal candidates will be tertiary qualified in accounting (or equivalent subject area), with demonstrated experience in corporate based financial systems, preparing and maintaining complex spreadsheets. You will possess a high level analytical/problem solving ability, excellent communication skills and develop, maintain and implement financial accounting policies and procedures.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
