About the role

The Cultural Programs Support Officer supports the Cultural Programs and Services team through professional and responsive communication, administration, event and operational support.  


This role helps keep the event wheels turning and is the first point of contact for our community when they make enquiries about our programs and services. 


From helping with event bump in’s to ordering supplies and managing bookings your tasks can vary from week to week. While the day to day is all about good communication, organisation, process and administration you get to be surrounded and inspired by creativity and community! 


What you will do:  

  • support your team members through responsive communication, outstanding customer and community service
  • provide event administration and operational support to help us deliver efficient and effective services 
  • develop fantastic relationships, use your networks and understand best practice   
  • follow processes, be safe, manage engagements and prioritise administration  


To be successful, you will:

  • have demonstrated experience in a similar role ideally working in administration, government or cultural sector 
  • be a problem solver and will go out of your way to ensure an excellent experience for our community.
  • assist with event delivery when needed and are flexible about working in various locations and hours
  • be passionate about accessibility, diversity and making an impact in the community through providing opportunities for play and creativity
