About the role

A rare opportunity is available for a highly motivated and experienced Asset Engineer to join the Roads and Structures Assets Team. 

 

In this role, you will be supporting the team by carrying out site investigations, preparing project briefs, developing City’s Road and Structures capital works and maintenance programs and responding to customer enquiries.

 

 We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Demonstrated experience in investigating and reporting on matters relating to civil infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and experience in asset management of road infrastructure, preferably in local government.
  • Knowledge and experience with asset management systems and GIS tools.
  • Experience in brief preparation and project management at a design /investigation level.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
